In this talk, we consider the distribution ofa_i(x)a_i+1(x), wherea_i(x)is thei-th partial quotient in the continued fraction expansions ofx.We provesome metric results abouta_i(x)a_i+1(x)and obtain the Hausdorff dimensions of related exceptional sets.
